Why this site exists
Australians researching meal delivery today get a choice between review platforms with thousands of undated opinions, comparison articles refreshed once a year, and brand websites quoting their own best numbers. Nobody shows you the one thing that matters: how a service is performing right now, across every place people actually review it.
What we do
MealPrepReviews tracks 40+ Australian meal delivery services and aggregates their customer ratings from ProductReview.com.au, Google, Trustpilot and YouTube into one recency-weighted score per brand — recomputed weekly, dated, attributed, and backed by our own hands-on testing. The full formula is on the methodology page, published before any score.
We come at this from inside the industry: our parent company operates in the Australian meal delivery market, which gives us working knowledge of production kitchens, cold-chain delivery, macro labelling and subscription operations. Exactly who owns this site, and the strict rules that conflict comes with — badging, and permanent exclusion from our ranked lists — are set out in full in our FAQ and Terms of use. Industry knowledge is only useful to you if the conflicts that come with it are on the table.
Editorial rules
- No score without data: brands stay marked "Tracking" until they clear the published data threshold. No placeholder ratings.
- Every third-party figure is attributed to its platform with a capture date and a link.
- Negative findings get published, including about our parent company's brands.
- Prices and claims are verified against the brand's own site on a stated date.
- Corrections are applied with a dated changelog note, not silently.

Meal delivery companies: we don't sell score improvements, coverage or rankings — please don't ask. If your review data or pricing is out of date on our pages, we do want to hear about it.
